Bus schedules for the 2016-17 school year are now available.

School supplies reminder

School supply lists were included with students’ final report cards.

The Government of Yukon is providing funding for school supplies for all students in the 2016-17 school year. You can expect that essential items such as paper, pencils and binders will be provided.

The Department of Education is purchasing these essential items for students at these schools:

  • F.H. Collins
  • Selkirk Elementary School
  • Individual Learning Centre
  • Tantalus School
  • Chief Zzeh Gittlit
  • Eliza Van Bibber
  • JV Clark

For other schools, school councils are looking after the purchasing. Contact the school if you need details.

New service centre for youth opened

The Integrated Supports for Yukon Youth (ISSY) will deliver program and workshops and crisis interventions.

2016 Back-to-School Safety Fair

Get ready for a fun-filled day with displays, food and games, hosted by the Department of Highways and Public Works. Everyone is welcome.

Yukon government and First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun sign agreement

Minister of Education Doug Graham and First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun Chief Simon Mervyn signed a new three-year education agreement last month in Whitehorse.
