At the end of the online application process, you will be prompted to submit additional documents. Some of those documents are available below. Please contact our office if you have any questions.

Important: Official transcripts must be sent by mail. Faxed or scanned transcripts will not be accepted.
Step 4 - send in your declarations and other documents
You can scan and email, fax, mail or drop your completed declaration off to our office. See our address and other contact information at the bottom of this page. Please contact our office if you have any questions. Be sure your signed declaration reaches our office before the deadline date.
Paper applicationsIf you prefer to complete a paper application, fill out the Application for Student Financial Assistance and/or the Canada Student Loan Application . Print a copy of your completed form(s) and send them to the Student Financial Assistance office via e-mail, fax, regular mail or by dropping them off. See our contact and address information at the bottom of this page.

Important health care information
If you are attending school outside of Yukon, read this notice about temporary absence to attend post-secondary education . Then, print and complete the Yukon Health Care Insurance Plan Temporary Absence Form . Once completed, this form can be sent either to the Yukon Department of Health or to the Student Financial Assistance office (address below).
Deadlines to submit completed declarationsYukon Grant Application: 6 weeks after the start date of your classes.
Student Training Allowance: 14 training days after the start date of your classes in order to receive full funding.
Yukon Excellence Awards: No deadline date; however, awards expire 10 years after you leave high school.
Canadian Army, Nicholas John Harach, Yukon Art Society and Yukon Huskies CB Radio Club Scholarships: September 30 each academic year.
Canada Student Loan and Grants: No deadline date, but any loan/grant must be in your bank account before the end date of your program or the loan/grant will be cancelled. Processing a loan can require up to 8 weeks – longer if you are attending an institution outside Canada. Be sure to get all of your information in early!
