 Annual School Bus Registration Form

Registration is required for all students who take the bus to schools in Whitehorse. In rural Yukon, parents should contact their children’s schools for busing information.

To submit a form, choose one of the following options:

We provide students with the most efficient routes possible. To do that we rely on registration information.

The form also ensures that we have up-to-date contact information and lets us know about any medical conditions or allergies your child may have, in case of an emergency. This information is shared with the school bus company.

Public transit/city bus

Whitehorse high school students can take a city bus instead of a school bus. Students who choose to use the city bus receive free monthly Whitehorse Transit passes to get to and from school and for personal use.

Students who choose to get free transit passes are not eligible to ride a school bus.

To sign up, download the registration form  or get one at your school office. Return the completed form to your school office.

Students who ride the city buses must follow the Whitehorse Transit Passenger Code of Conduct .

Transportation subsidy

Parents whose children live more than 3.2 km from the nearest school bus stop may apply for an allowance to offset the cost of driving. To apply, download the Student Transportation Allowance Application

There are three ways to submit the form:
