Award Amount:

$5,000 annually for full-time students to a maximum of four years
4 Bursaries per year

Criteria:

• Canadian citizen or landed immigrant:
• Proof of current or previous residency in Yukon of at least 3 consecutive years within the last 5 years;
• Acceptance into a recognized Canadian baccalaureate nursing education program;
• Demonstrated interest and/or commitment in health care services and working in Yukon on completion of education;
• Preference given to First Nations applicants.

Documents Req:

• Letter of acceptance/proof of enrollment in an approved Canadian baccalaureate nursing education program;
• Proof of Canadiana citizenship or landed immigrant status;
• Proof of residency;
• Letter indicating interest in and/or commitment to health care services through personal employment, education and volunteer history including reference names and contact information.  Include full name , address, telephone and email contact and information on other funding sources.

The onus shall be upon the condidates to present their application on or before the deadline, complete with all documents.
