Criteria:

• 2nd or subsequent year student of a recognized program in nursing studies;
• lst year students - see note below;
• Completion of major portion of his/her training in the Yukon public school system with an overall grade average of 75%;
• Scholarship to be awarded based on volunteer, community services and grades.

• Description of the program to be taken;
• Two (2) letters of reference and a concise list of volunteer, community service and other relevant information;
• 1st Year Applicants: Official Grade 12 transcript and letter of acceptance or proof of enrolment from institution you plan to attend;
• 2nd Year Applicants: Official transcript from previous year(s) of nursing program

Preference in awarding this scholarship will be given to graduates who are a second or subsequent year nursing student and who display strong community values and support. This scholarship was established in fond memory of Lion 'Peg' Harper who passed away in 1997.

**Note** Should no second or subsequent year student(s) qualify nor apply, the scholarship may be awarded to an eligible first year student.
