Applicants attending any degree-granting university recognized by the Canadian Universities Foundation, and where applicants derive their education beyond the limits of the universities recognized by the Canadian Universities Foundation such as the B.C. Institute of Technology and the Vancouver Schools of Arts acceptable to the University of British Columbia, and having completed at least two years or equivalent, of regular courses and with the highest average in all subjects taken in the two previous (not necessarily consecutive) scholastic years, are entitled to receive the same. Need and difficulty of the course are factors that may be taken into consideration.
