Award Amount:

$750.00 annually

Criteria:

• Priority given to applicants who have completed the major portion of their training in the Yukon public school system;
• Overall average of 80% with 75% minimum subject mark in most recent year of studies;
• Preference given to applicants entering the fields of Education, Native Studies, Human Service;
• Priority will be given to First Nations students, please indicate your First Nations ancestry; 
• Not eligible if recipient of another major scholarship of $500.00 or more.

• Official Grade 12 transcript - academic achievement;
• Official transcript of marks from last institution attended;
• Information on extra-curricular involvement in school or community;
• Letter of reference supporting extra-curricular commitments an asset.

Preference in awarding the scholarship will be given to a graduate who has completed the major portion of his/her training in the Yukon educational system and who is attending any year in the faculty of education, native studies or a human service field. Where more than two candidates are judged of equal worth, a First Nations student will be given preference.
