STEP

The Student Training and Employment Program (STEP) is an employer wage subsidy program designed to assist Yukon post-secondary students, in full-time post-secondary studies and/or recent post-secondary graduates, by providing an opportunity to attain practical work experience related to their current field of study.

Summer employment for students is created by offering employers subsidies on competitively paid summer positions. Students can experience diverse employment opportunities, learn career skills and gain a measure of financial security for their future education.
