Yukon Government Apprentice Program (YGAP)

Description

The Yukon Government Apprentice Program (YGAP) is a flow through apprentice training program. Apprentices under this program are trained in Government workshops throughout Yukon.

Program Duration

Variable, three to four years, depending on the individual's experience and training, and the requirements of the particular occupation.

Program Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the education entrance requirement for the particular occupation as prescribed by the Apprentice Training Regulations. Other requirements for individual positions are stated in the position(s) advertisement.

Application Process

When positions become available under this program they are advertised and at that time applications will be taken.
